It is wonderful to be able to be able to play a small part in this momentous occasion. Queen Elizabeth II is the first monarch in history to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, which is 70 years of service.
The Platinum Jubilee Hallmark is only the 7th commemorative hallmark to be sanctioned in hundreds of years of hallmarking. Here in Sheffield, the assay office has been hallmarking since 1773, and has been hallmarking Francis Howard items for almost 150 years.
We hope that some of our products, stamped with this mark will be collectors items of the future.
